The K-pop live act wave doesn’t seem to want to slow down any time soon and it’s clear that 2019 is turning out to be the biggest year for Indian fans. With two K-pop tours already completed in the last few months alone (boy group IN2IT kicked things off in April while VAV followed soon after in May,) India is in for an even bigger treat. KARD, currently one of the most popular K-pop groups in the world, will make their debut in the country this July.

The group consists of four members–B.M, Jiwoo, J.Seph and Somin–and took off even before their official debut in 2017, gaining a massive global following thanks to their unique dancehall sound and co-ed concept–a refreshing change of pace in the K-pop sphere. They’re also one of the most popular K-pop groups in India with fans clamoring for a concert in the country via comments on the group’s social media pages and various petitions online. The members themselves have also previously express interest in India; a clip of rapper J.Seph attempting to cover “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” from the 2008 film of the same name went viral back in 2017.

The tour will be organized by New Delhi-based company Pinkbox Events (who previously brought in K-pop trio Mont and will also be bringing in solo artist Jang Hanbyul this year.) “We started with a humble beginning and here we are, 4 years later as promised bringing Hallyu once again closer to home! We are bringing to you @official_kard this July,” the company announced earlier today on their Instagram.
